This photo shows some of the dresses that the people at Seniors
for Tots out of Tucson, Arizona made that I had cut out of a special lot of
fabric that was big enough to cut these dress pieces out of and they
sewed them up and donated them to various organizations around the
Tucson area. It just so happened that I stumbled onto this batch a few
months before Christmas so I was able to get it to them in time for them
to work on them and get them handed out before Christmas. Many of the
girls that these dresses went to wrote thank you letters to the ladies
telling them that this was the first dress they ever owned and that
they were going to wear them on Christmas day. I have some photos
of the girls in the dresses and will post them here also when I get a
chance to get them scanned in. If you are from the Tucson area, you
might want to mention to Grant Bergman (who organizes the Magic Mike
scrap projects with the ladies there) or any of the ladies there, that you
have read about them on the internet and seen some photos of their work.
They don't yet have internet access so it would be nice for them to know
their exploits are being made know worldwide. Tell them you saw it on
Magic Mike's Web Page!!! They deserve all the credit they can get for
the wonderful projects they do around the area.
